Events - Event View

This is an event that a number of Grand Photo members attended in the past and mentioned that there are many Photo Op's. 

This is a 3-day event featuring hot air balloons launched in “Morning Ascensions” from 7-9 am each day.  Spectators can walk on the field and experience the balloons inflation and lift off. 

Desert Glows on Fri/Sat evenings (tethered balloons will glow in time to music) are the most popular events.**  Also on Friday and Saturday there are Hot Air Balloon rides, Family Fun Zone - inflatables for kids, BMX Stunt Shows, Hot Air Balloon Tether rides, Live Entertainment, Retail shopping & sampling, commercial exhibits for purchases or browsing. and a street food fest.

Sunday's event includes only the 7-9 am morning balloon ascension.

Tip: If attending early or late, dress in layers for temperature changes. Wear good walking shoes for grassy and dirt fields.
