Come learn how to make and print a contact sheet containing multiple photos in this small group session where you will first learn about paper qualities and comparisons and then have a one-on-one printing practice on the Canon 6400 printer where you will print your contact sheet.

You'll learn about the three categories or qualities of photo papers and what they can do for your images. Also covered will be print basics such as color management, ICC profiles and print resolution. You'll receive an overview of printing basics on the 6400 via a Photoshop printer interface module.

Experience - This class is geared toward members who have minimal or no photo paper knowledge or even those who do but might like a review on papers or the Canon 6400 printer. Note: If you are comfortable with papers and have experience in printing, the best class for you is Printing on the Canon 6400

Equipment required - Participants will be creating a 'contact sheet' of photos and will need to bring a thumb drive of 4-6 images of their choice which, ideally, have a range of colors, contrast and detail.

A materials fee is payable in the class. The materials fee is in the range of $2 to $6 for the paper used (a variety of paper options are available at the studio). Note, this materials fee is in addition to the general class registration fee which is due at the time you sign up.
