Micro 4/3rd SIG:
Olympus and Panasonic introduced the Micro 4/3rds, mirrorless camera in 2008 to provide a more compact camera system with expanded firmware to simplify several shooting scenarios, a smaller sensor than the APS-C and smaller, high-quality lenses. The Olympus and Panasonic systems feature many similarities in programs and interchangeable lenses that can be used in either brand.
If you already use a Micro 4/3rds camera or are interested in the systems’ features, size and weight, you should join us at the Micro 4/3rds SIG meetings to share expertise and information. The meetings have wide and free-ranging discussions and hands-on learning experiences relating to equipment, use of camera features, available upgrades, and resolving issues. Members are encouraged to share recent images via thumb drive or mirroring via iPhone and Android connections.
The SIG meets 2nd Thursdays @ 3:00 – 5:00 PM, October through April.
